Common Questions

How much does stump grinding cost?

Every property is different — stump size, root spread, access, and soil all affect the job. We don't publish blanket prices because a flat rate would either overcharge easy jobs or undercharge hard ones. We give every customer a free, no-obligation quote after a quick look at the stump (often from a photo you text us).

How deep do you grind the stump?

Standard grinding goes 4-6 inches below grade, which is enough to mow over and landscape around. If you're planning to replant in the same spot or need a deeper grind for construction, let us know when you request your quote and we'll grind accordingly.

Do you haul away the wood chips and debris?

We can. Some customers keep the ground-up mulch for landscaping, others want it hauled off completely. Tell us your preference when you request a quote and we'll price it either way.

Can you grind stumps in tight or fenced-in backyards?

Yes. We run compact equipment specifically so we can access fenced backyards, tight side yards, and areas standard-size equipment can't reach. Send us photos of the access path when you request your quote so we can plan the right equipment for the job.
